Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions:
“Competition” means any prize competition promoted by the Promoter via the Website.
“Entrant” means any individual entering a Competition.
“Winner” means a validly selected Competition winner.
“Prize” means any item, vehicle, cash equivalent, experience or other benefit offered in a Competition.
“Website” means comp-central.co.uk.
“Promoter”, “we”, “our”, or “us” means Combrook Limited trading as Comp Central.
1. PROMOTER

These Terms and Conditions govern all prize competitions operated by Combrook Limited trading as Comp Central(“Comp Central”, “Promoter”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

1.2 These Terms and Conditions apply to all prize competitions promoted, administered, or operated by the Promoter through the Website and any associated channels, including social media platforms.
1.3 By entering any competition operated by the Promoter, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions in full.
1.4 These Terms and Conditions should be read together with:
- the Competition page relating to the specific Prize;
- our Privacy Policy;
- our Cookie Policy; and
- any additional terms expressly referenced on the Website.
Where there is any inconsistency, the specific Competition page shall prevail only to the extent of that inconsistency.
2. COMPETITIONS
2.1 Competition Structure
The Promoter operates prize competitions through the Website whereby eligible entrants may enter for the opportunity to win a stated prize (“Prize”).
Each competition (“Competition”) shall include:
- a specified Prize;
- an opening and closing date;
- an entry fee (where applicable);
- a free postal entry route; and
- any Competition-specific conditions.
2.2 Multiple Competitions may operate simultaneously and independently.
2.3 The Promoter reserves the right to:
- amend Competition details;
- substitute a Prize;
- amend closing dates;
- withdraw or cancel a Competition,
where reasonably necessary for operational, legal, regulatory or commercial reasons.
2.4 Legal Status of Competitions
The Promoter intends all Competitions to constitute lawful prize competitions and not unlawful lotteries under the provisions of the Gambling Act 2005.
Each Competition includes a free postal entry route which is available to all eligible entrants.
Where applicable, a Competition may additionally include a skill-based question designed to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
2.5 All Competitions are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time.
2.6 Entry numbers, ticket availability, pricing, promotional offers and competition mechanics remain at the sole discretion of the Promoter.
2.7 Unless otherwise stated, all Prizes will be awarded regardless of ticket sales volume.
2.8 The Promoter may close a Competition early where the maximum allocation of entries has been reached.
3. ELIGIBILITY
3.1 Minimum Requirements
Competitions are open only to persons who:
a. are aged 18 years or over at the time of entry;
b. are legally resident in the United Kingdom; and
c. have legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
3.2 Excluded Persons
The following persons are prohibited from entering Competitions:
- directors, officers and employees of the Promoter;
- immediate family members of the above;
- any person professionally connected with the administration of a Competition;
- any person whom the Promoter reasonably believes to be acting fraudulently or unfairly.
3.3 The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or suspend participation where it reasonably suspects:
- fraud;
- identity manipulation;
- multiple account abuse;
- postal entry abuse;
- chargeback abuse;
- automated or scripted entries;
- abusive, threatening or defamatory conduct.
3.4 Entrants are solely responsible for ensuring participation is lawful in their country or jurisdiction. The Promoter accepts no responsibility where participation breaches local law.
3.5 All Competitions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute arising in relation to a Competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
4. ENTRY PROCESS
4.1 Website Account Requirement
To participate in a Competition, Entrants must create an account on the Website.
When registering, Entrants must provide accurate and complete information including:
- full legal name;
- residential address;
- email address;
- telephone number;
- date of birth.
The Promoter reserves the right to request evidence verifying any information provided.
4.2 Entrants must ensure account information remains accurate and up to date.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss arising from inaccurate account details.
4.3 Online Entry
To enter online, Entrants must:
a. select the Competition;
b. select the number of entries they wish to purchase;
c. complete payment using an approved payment method;
d. correctly answer any skill-based question where required;
e. confirm acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
An entry shall only be deemed valid once:
- payment has been successfully authorised; and
- entry confirmation appears in the Entrant’s account and/or confirmation email is issued.
4.4 FREE POSTAL ENTRY ROUTE
The Promoter provides a free postal entry route for every Competition.
To submit a valid postal entry, Entrants must:
a. clearly state the Competition they wish to enter;
b. provide:
- full legal name;
- address;
- email address;
- contact telephone number;
- date of birth;
c. send the entry separately in an individual envelope;
d. ensure sufficient postage is paid – Royal Mail First or Second Class postage.

4.5 Postal Entry Conditions
Postal entries:
- must be handwritten and legible;
- must not be sent in bulk mailings;
- must not contain copied, mechanically reproduced, or automated submissions;
- must arrive before the Competition closing date.
The cost of postage shall be borne by the Entrant.
Only one Competition entry may be submitted per envelope.
The Promoter reserves the right to reject postal entries that do not comply with these Terms.
4.6 Equal Treatment of Entries
Valid postal entries shall be treated in the same manner as paid online entries and entered into the same random draw.
No advantage shall be afforded to paid entries over valid postal entries.
4.7 SKILL-BASED QUESTIONS
Where applicable, Competitions may require entrants to answer a skill-based question.
Such questions are included to ensure Competitions remain lawful prize competitions.
The Promoter reserves the right to:
- vary question format;
- reject incorrect answers;
- determine correctness acting reasonably.
Any Competition-specific question shall be displayed on the Competition page.
4.8 SINGLE ACCOUNT POLICY
Only one account is permitted per individual.
The creation, operation or use of multiple accounts is strictly prohibited.
Where the Promoter reasonably suspects duplicate accounts have been created, it reserves the right to:
- suspend accounts;
- void entries;
- cancel participation;
- withhold prizes pending investigation.
4.9 DISQUALIFICATION
The Promoter may disqualify any entrant who:
- breaches these Terms;
- acts dishonestly;
- attempts to manipulate Competition outcomes;
- abuses staff or other users;
- posts defamatory or abusive material relating to the Promoter;
- engages in fraudulent or suspicious conduct.
Any decision to disqualify shall be at the Promoter’s reasonable discretion.
4.10 REFUNDS
Except where required by law or where a Competition is cancelled by the Promoter, all entries are final and non-refundable.
5. WINNER SELECTION
5.1 Random Draw Process
All Competition winners (“Winners” or “Prize Winners”) shall be selected through a verifiably random selection process.
Each valid entry received before the Competition closing date shall be allocated a corresponding entry number and entered into the relevant draw.
The Promoter reserves the right to determine the method of random selection, provided such method is fair, transparent and random.
5.2 Competition Closing
Each Competition shall close on the date and time displayed on the relevant Competition page.
The Promoter reserves the right to:
- close a Competition early where all available entries have sold or been allocated;
- extend a Competition where reasonably necessary due to technical, operational or exceptional circumstances;
- amend draw dates where reasonably necessary.
Where a Competition closes early, all valid entries received prior to closure shall remain eligible.
5.3 Livestream Draws
The Promoter may, at its discretion, livestream some or all Competition draws through social media platforms or other online channels.
Livestream platforms may include, without limitation:
- Facebook;
- Instagram;
- TikTok;
- YouTube; or
- other social media channels selected by the Promoter.
The absence of a livestream shall not invalidate any draw or affect the validity of the result.
Where a livestream is interrupted, unavailable or affected by technical difficulties, the Promoter reserves the right to continue, suspend, repeat or rearrange the draw process.
The official Competition result shall be determined solely by the Promoter’s internal records.
5.4 Technical Errors During Draws
Where technical, administrative or human error materially affects a draw, the Promoter reserves the right to:
- suspend the draw;
- investigate the issue;
- repeat the draw process; or
- declare affected entries void where reasonably necessary.
The Promoter shall act reasonably and fairly when exercising this right.
5.5 Finality of Decisions
The Promoter’s decision in relation to:
- winner selection;
- entry validity;
- disqualification;
- Competition administration; and
- interpretation of these Terms,
shall be final, provided such decisions are made reasonably and in good faith.
6. WINNER NOTIFICATION
6.1 Contacting Winners
The Promoter shall use reasonable endeavours to contact Winners using the contact details registered to their Website account.
Contact may be attempted via:
- telephone;
- email;
- SMS;
- social media messaging (where appropriate).
It is the responsibility of each Entrant to ensure that all account information remains accurate and up to date.
The Promoter shall not be responsible for failed contact attempts resulting from inaccurate or outdated information supplied by an Entrant.
6.2 Winner Response Period
Prize Winners must respond to the Promoter within 14 days of first contact attempt unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The Promoter may, at its discretion, extend this period.
6.3 Forfeiture of Prize
The Promoter reserves the right to declare a Prize forfeited where:
a. a Winner cannot be contacted;
b. a Winner fails to respond within the required timeframe;
c. a Winner refuses or fails to complete identity verification;
d. fraud or rule breaches are reasonably suspected;
e. the Winner breaches these Terms.
Where a Prize is forfeited, the Promoter may:
- conduct a redraw;
- select an alternative Winner; or
- otherwise dispose of the Prize at its discretion.
7. IDENTITY VERIFICATION & ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING
7.1 Identity Verification
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the identity, age and eligibility of any Entrant or Winner at any time.
Before any Prize is awarded, Winners may be required to provide:
- valid photographic identification (passport or driving licence);
- proof of address;
- evidence of payment method ownership;
- date of birth verification.
The Promoter reserves the right to request additional documentation where reasonably necessary.
7.2 Age Verification
No Prize shall be awarded to any person under the age of 18.
Where age cannot be verified to the reasonable satisfaction of the Promoter, entry may be voided and the Prize forfeited.
7.3 Anti-Fraud & AML Compliance
The Promoter reserves the right to undertake verification checks for the purposes of:
- fraud prevention;
- anti-money laundering compliance;
- criminal activity prevention;
- identity verification;
- prevention of payment abuse.
Where reasonably required, Winners may be asked to provide evidence relating to:
- source of funds;
- payment ownership;
- identity consistency across accounts.
7.4 Suspicious Activity
The Promoter reserves the right to:
- suspend accounts;
- withhold Prize delivery;
- void entries;
- cancel participation;
where it reasonably suspects:
- fraudulent activity;
- money laundering;
- chargeback abuse;
- account manipulation;
- false identity use;
- organised entry abuse.
The Promoter may report suspected criminal activity to relevant authorities where legally required.
7.5 Delays in Verification
Failure to provide requested documentation promptly may result in delays to Prize fulfilment.
The Promoter shall not be liable for delays caused by incomplete or late verification.
8. PRIZES
8.1 Prize Description
Each Competition Prize shall be described on the relevant Competition page.
Images are for illustrative purposes only.
Minor differences in specification, colour, condition or packaging shall not constitute grounds for complaint.
8.2 Prize Substitution
The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a Prize with an alternative prize of equal or greater value where:
- a Prize becomes unavailable;
- supply issues arise;
- circumstances outside the Promoter’s control occur;
- operational or legal reasons require substitution.
No cash alternative shall be offered unless expressly stated by the Promoter.
8.3 Prize Acceptance
Prizes:
- are non-transferable;
- may not be exchanged;
- may not be sold prior to receipt;
- cannot be substituted by a Winner.
8.4 Delivery of Prizes
Prize delivery within the United Kingdom shall ordinarily be arranged free of charge.
The Promoter reserves the right to determine the method of delivery.
Where a Winner requests international delivery, any customs charges, taxes, duties or additional courier fees shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner.
8.5 Risk and Ownership
Risk in a Prize transfers to the Winner upon successful delivery, collection or handover.
Once delivered or collected, the Promoter accepts no responsibility for:
- damage;
- misuse;
- insurance;
- maintenance;
- loss or theft.
Ownership shall not pass until any required verification has been completed.
8.6 Vehicles & High-Value Assets
Where a Prize includes:
- motor vehicles;
- luxury watches;
- jewellery;
- electronics;
- cash equivalents; or
- other high-value items,
the Winner may be required to complete additional verification checks prior to transfer.
The Winner shall be responsible for:
- insurance;
- taxation;
- registration;
- licensing;
- ongoing costs.
8.7 Third-Party Terms
Prizes may be subject to manufacturer warranties, supplier restrictions or third-party terms.
The Promoter shall not be liable for defects covered by manufacturer warranty or supplier obligations.
9. PRIZE STORAGE & COLLECTION
9.1 Storage Period
The Promoter may store a Prize free of charge for up to 30 days following notification to a Winner.
9.2 Extended Storage
Where a Winner requests storage exceeding 30 days, the Promoter may charge reasonable storage costs.
Such costs must be paid before release of the Prize.
9.3 Failure to Arrange Collection
Where a Winner repeatedly fails to arrange delivery or collection without reasonable explanation, the Promoter reserves the right to treat the Prize as forfeited.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
10.1 Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit any rights afforded to consumers under applicable law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- breach of statutory rights; or
- any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10.2 Competition Participation
Entry into any Competition is entirely at the Entrant’s own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for:
- failed entries;
- interrupted transactions;
- loss of opportunity;
- incorrect Competition results caused by technical failure;
- Website downtime;
- internet disruption;
- payment processing failures;
- telecommunications issues.
10.3 Prize Liability
Following successful delivery, collection or transfer of a Prize, the Promoter shall bear no responsibility for:
- defects;
- faults;
- damage;
- misuse;
- mechanical failures;
- depreciation in value;
- insurance obligations;
- taxation;
- maintenance costs.
Any manufacturer warranty shall remain solely with the manufacturer or supplier.
10.4 Indirect Losses
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for:
- indirect loss;
- consequential loss;
- loss of business;
- loss of profit;
- reputational loss;
- emotional distress;
- disappointment.
10.5 Maximum Liability
Where liability is established:
a. for a Prize Winner, the Promoter’s maximum liability shall not exceed the retail value of the Prize won;
b. for any Entrant who is not a Winner, liability shall not exceed the amount paid to enter the relevant Competition.
11. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS & TECHNICAL ISSUES
11.1 Technical Interruptions
The Promoter shall not be responsible for:
- interrupted internet service;
- server downtime;
- software malfunction;
- payment interruptions;
- telecommunications issues;
- browser incompatibility;
- corrupted transmissions;
- failed email delivery;
- cyberattacks or malicious interference.
11.2 Incorrect Prize Allocation
In the event that a Prize is incorrectly awarded due to:
- technical error;
- administrative mistake;
- software malfunction;
- human error;
the Promoter reserves the right to:
- withdraw the Prize;
- recover the Prize;
- cancel the award;
- re-award the Prize to the rightful Winner.
The incorrectly identified Winner agrees to cooperate fully and return any Prize immediately upon request.
The Promoter shall not be liable for losses suffered by a person incorrectly identified as a Winner.
11.3 Competition Records
The Promoter’s internal systems, databases and records shall be the definitive record of all Competition entries and outcomes.
12. CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS
12.1 Account Responsibility
Entrants are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their account credentials.
Entrants must:
- keep passwords secure;
- use strong passwords;
- prevent unauthorised access;
- log out when using shared devices.
12.2 Account Security
Entrants must notify the Promoter immediately if they suspect:
- unauthorised access;
- account compromise;
- fraudulent activity;
- password theft.
The Promoter reserves the right to suspend any account pending investigation.
12.3 Single Account Rule
Each individual may hold only one Website account.
The Promoter may merge, suspend or terminate accounts where duplicate registrations are reasonably suspected.
12.4 False Information
The Promoter reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts where false, misleading or incomplete information has been provided.
12.5 Account Suspension
Accounts may be suspended or terminated where the Promoter reasonably suspects:
- fraud;
- abusive conduct;
- payment abuse;
- chargeback abuse;
- rule breaches;
- manipulation of Competitions.
The Promoter shall act reasonably when exercising these rights.
13. PAYMENTS, REFUNDS & CHARGEBACKS
13.1 Payment Processing
All payments shall be processed securely using third-party payment providers selected by the Promoter.
The Promoter does not store full payment card details.
13.2 Finality of Entries
Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated in these Terms, all Competition entries are final and non-refundable.
13.3 Competition Cancellation
Where a Competition is cancelled, the Promoter may:
- issue a refund;
- provide account credit; or
- transfer entries to an equivalent Competition,
at the election of the Entrant where reasonably practicable.
Refunds shall ordinarily be processed using the original payment method.
13.4 Chargeback Prevention
Before initiating a chargeback, Entrants agree to contact the Promoter at:

to attempt resolution.
13.5 Unjustified Chargebacks
Where an Entrant initiates an unjustified chargeback, the Promoter reserves the right to recover:
- Competition entry fees;
- payment processor fees;
- administrative costs;
- debt recovery expenses;
- legal costs where recoverable.
13.6 Suspension Following Chargeback
The Promoter may immediately suspend or terminate accounts where a chargeback is initiated pending investigation.
13.7 Fraudulent Payment Activity
The Promoter reserves the right to refuse payments or suspend accounts where fraud or suspicious activity is reasonably suspected.
14. ACCEPTABLE WEBSITE USE
14.1 Permitted Use
The Website is intended solely for personal, lawful and non-commercial use.
Entrants must not use the Website in any unlawful manner.
14.2 Prohibited Conduct
Users must not:
a. interfere with Website functionality;
b. attempt unauthorised access;
c. distribute malware, viruses or harmful software;
d. use bots, scripts or automated systems;
e. manipulate Competition outcomes;
f. post abusive, threatening, racist, defamatory or unlawful material;
g. harass staff, Winners or customers;
h. damage the reputation of the Promoter through malicious or knowingly false statements.
14.3 Social Media Conduct
The Promoter reserves the right to suspend participation where an Entrant engages in:
- abusive conduct;
- targeted harassment;
- threats;
- malicious falsehoods;
- discriminatory or hateful conduct.
Legitimate criticism or honest opinion shall not, of itself, constitute grounds for suspension.
14.4 Indemnity
Entrants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Promoter against any claims, costs, liabilities, losses or damages arising from:
- misuse of the Website;
- unlawful conduct;
- breach of these Terms;
- third-party claims arising from Entrant actions.
15. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
15.1 Ownership
All intellectual property rights in the Website, branding, competitions and content belong to the Promoter or its licensors.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership rights to Entrants.
15.2 Restrictions
Entrants must not:
- copy;
- reproduce;
- scrape;
- reverse engineer;

All trademarks, logos and branding used by the Promoter remain the property of the Promoter or relevant owners.
Any third-party trademarks are used for identification purposes only.

16. GENERAL LEGAL PROVISIONS
16.1 Changes to Terms
The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
16.2 Entire Agreement

No person other than the Entrant and Promoter shall have rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce these Terms.
16.7 Force Majeure
The Promoter shall not be liable for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:
- acts of God;
- pandemics;
- cyberattacks;
- utility failure;
- strikes;
- terrorism;
- war;
- government restrictions.
16.8 Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or any Competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
